CCL Game Changers 2025: Leading with Purpose

CCL’s 2025 Business Summit

In May 2025, Corndel College London (CCL) welcomed over 80 learners to the CCL business Summit 2025, a day built around purpose, impact, and connection.

Hosted at Regent’s University London, the summit offered an immersive learning experience designed to cultivate confident, future-focused leaders, equipped to navigate a world shaped by AI, sustainability, and rapid workplace change.

Purpose and possibility

The day began with coffee, conversation, and connection as learners gathered in the marquee and were introduced to their breakout groups. CCL leaders opened the event with a warm welcome, setting the tone for a dynamic and purposeful day.

Sarah Rozenthuler, Chartered Psychologist and author of Powered by Purpose, delivered a compelling keynote that encouraged learners to reflect on what drives them. Her message was clear: “The world needs more people who have come alive.” Through at-table activities and meaningful discussions, learners began to explore what purpose means in their lives and careers.

Breakouts and big ideas

After a networking lunch in the sunshine, learners moved into two themed breakout sessions: Human Intelligence in an AI World and Sustainability in Action. Across both tracks, discussions explored the evolving role of human insight in a tech-driven world and the responsibility of leaders to drive ethical, environmental change.

The sessions were hands-on, reflective and thought-provoking. Learners challenged assumptions, exchanged ideas, and shared insights with peers from across industries.

The afternoon culminated in the ‘Game Changers Ideas Exchange,’ a dynamic forum where learner representatives took to the stage to share their group’s key takeaways. From inclusive leadership and ethical AI to personal resilience and purpose-led decision making, the themes reflected the depth and ambition of the day.

Turning insight into impact

To close the loop from morning to afternoon, learners revisited their reflections during the “Finding Your Purpose” commitment exercise, using Mentimeter to create a live digital wall of leadership pledges. These commitments captured the energy and intent in the room, ranging from improving workplace culture to embracing learning in the face of uncertainty.

Corndel College London (CCL) delivers world-class degree apprenticeships tailored to the needs of employers and learners. Our programmes are designed to unlock talent pipelines, equipping the next generation of professionals with the leadership, digital, and human skills needed to thrive.
